When to Consider
Breast Lipofilling?
The breasts hold a central place in female identity. They symbolize not only femininity and seduction, but also motherhood.
With pregnancies and weight fluctuations, the breasts may lose volume and appear “empty” or sagging.
Many women who wish to enhance the appearance of their breasts do not want to resort to breast implants. They seek more natural alternatives, free from the constraints associated with prostheses.
Lipofilling, or fat transfer, offers an innovative, reliable, and natural solution.

Advantages of breast lipofilling
Lipofilling: Natural Contouring with Your Own Fat
Lipofilling restores a natural shape to the breasts, harmonizes volumes, and corrects asymmetries.
This versatile technique can also be used to:
-
Treat breast hypotrophy
-
Complement breast implants (composite augmentation)
-
Enhance buttock volume
-
Rejuvenate the face
However, this procedure is recommended only for patients with sufficient fat reserves, as it is not suitable for very slim individuals.

Procedure Overview
On the Day of the Procedure
Dr. Benadiba will make precise markings on the areas to be treated and take preoperative photographs.
In the operating room
-
Type of anesthesia: General
-
Duration: 1 to 2 hours
Main steps of the procedure:
-
Small incisions are made to infiltrate a saline solution containing adrenaline, which minimizes bleeding and improves comfort.
-
Fat is gently aspirated using a fine cannula.
-
After purification, the fat is reinjected into the breasts to restore a harmonious and natural contour.

1) Do I need a lot of fat for breast lipofilling?
No, you need the equivalent of 300g of fat, i.e. a small pair of saddlebags. On average, we obtain between 300 and 500g of fat per side with liposuction of the hips, breeches, thighs and knees, sometimes up to 1kg if we add the stomach.
2. Does lipofilling of the breasts not hold up?
That's not true. Even if there is always a loss of volume of around 20-30%, the fat is a living organ that will integrate into the breast and live with the patient.
3. Is it as painful as breast implants?
That's not true: there's no opening of the breast, no muscle detachment, no foreign bodies, so there's virtually no pain, and the patient can return to active life in 2-3 days.
4 The advantages of breast lipofilling?
There is no scar (just a point under the breast to inject the fat), the result is totally natural to the touch (a normal breast is made up of fat and gland), no foreign body (no need to have another operation every 10 years), you can reshape your figure at the same time by liposuction, and the operation is short and outpatient.
5. Is breast lipofilling associated with a risk of cancer?
Not true, in fact it's a common method of breast reconstruction after cancer.
Since 2015, the Haute Autorité de Santé has lifted restrictions on breast lipofilling in patients over 35.
Breast lipofilling does not interfere with breast cancer screening. For safety no
FAQ about Breast Lipofilling in Geneva
Mammary Lipofilling from A to Z :
On the day of the procedure, Dr. Benadiba will identify the areas of fat to be aspirated.
The procedure takes place under general anesthesia and lasts around 1h30.
Step 1: Infiltration of the areas to be aspirated with a special serum significantly reduces oedema, bruising and bleeding compared with conventional liposuction.
Step 2: Thanks to minimal incisions, liposuction begins using fine cannulas, enabling the fat to be collected in special sterile containers.
Step 3: The fat is washed several times to obtain pure fat ready for re-injection into the breasts.
Step 4: Dr. Benadiba re-injects the fat into the breasts, using a 2-3 mm cannula through a tiny incision under the breast. Breast augmentation is performed harmoniously, symmetrically and in small quantities, and immediate fat sculpting gives an immediate, natural result.
Step 5: a 24-hour modeling dressing and a panthy on the aspirated areas will conclude this outpatient procedure.
Dr. BENADIBA will check the results on day 8 and again at 1 month.
The sutures are resorbable and the panthy will be kept on for 3_4 weeks following oedemas.
Lymphatic drainage is recommended.
The final result will be seen around the 3rd month. It is important not to smoke and to avoid significant weight loss during this period.
