Botox is a product made from the purified and attenuated form of botulinum toxin. There are other effective molecules such as Azzalure, Bocouture, Vistabel, Letybo....

Botulinum toxin causes a decrease in muscle contraction by partial chemical blockade of the muscle, resulting in localized muscle relaxation. When injected into a muscle, it reduces its contraction.

The wrinkles that will be classically treated are:

• Vertical wrinkles called “frown lines” (between the eyebrows),

• horizontal forehead wrinkles,

• wrinkles called “crow’s feet” (folds at the corners of the eyes)
